Longevity Brand Ventures
I am thrilled to share with you some of the amazing results of my investment strategy so far. I have focused on finding and supporting innovative and disruptive brands in the food, beverage, household and personal care sectors, which are growing much faster than the traditional and boring ones. These sectors have shown strong and consistent growth rates that surpass the average market performance, and the emerging brands that I have invested in have achieved even higher sales growth rates than their competitors in the same segment. This is a testament to the power of creativity, passion and vision that these brands embody.
I have focused my investments on markets that are growing faster than the conventional sectors in food, beverage, household and personal care. These markets have higher basic growth rates than the overall market and the emerging brands in these markets have annual sales growth rates that are two to three times higher than the average segment in the category.
Here is an outline of the current segments in which I operate. The following explains the following market categories including market size and key brands:
Clean Nutrition & Functional Foods
This category champions simple, minimally processed foods that deliver meaningful nutrition per bite—think superfood-forward formats, Mediterranean-inspired staples, and products grounded in longevity science. The global functional foods market is sizable and accelerating, estimated around $280B and projected to roughly double by 2030 on sustained demand for fortification and clean labels. Grand View Research Evidence supporting Mediterranean-style eating continues to build: a large U.S. cohort study in JAMA Network Open (25,000+ women over 25 years) linked higher adherence to the diet with a 23% lower risk of all-cause mortality, a narrative tailwind for olive-oil–centric, minimally processed foods. JAMA Network+1 Relatedly, the global olive oil market is forecast to grow from ~$20.3B (2025) to ~$30.6B by 2032 as consumers trade up to high-quality EVOO despite recent supply volatility. Better Beverages & Modern Indulgence
Better-for-you beverages—low-sugar, functional, and mindful—are reshaping the cold box and back bar. Functional drinks are projected at ~$150B in 2024, tracking toward ~$249B by 2030 (CAGR ~9%) on interest in protein, adaptogens, electrolytes, and cleaner energy. Grand View Research Moderation is now mainstream: the no-alcohol segment in the U.S. is forecast to reach ~$5B by 2028 with ~18% volume CAGR (2024–2028), while non-alcoholic beer is the fastest-growing beer style globally and valued around $13.7B (2024). IWSR+1 Adjacent trends such as hard kombucha show outsized momentum from a small base, with projections from $40M (2021) to ~$1.7B by 2031. alliedmarketresearch.com
Natural Beauty & Personal Care
Clean, sustainable beauty and purpose-built personal care are moving from niche to norm as shoppers scrutinize ingredient lists and sourcing. The clean beauty market was $8.25B in 2023 and is on pace to reach ~$21.3B by 2030 (CAGR ~14.8%), led by skincare and body care that prioritize safety standards and transparency. Grand View Research Men’s grooming adds incremental tailwinds—U.S. revenues are expected to approach $81B by 2030 (CAGR ~8% from 2023)—and functional fragrance/aromatherapy continues steady growth, projected $1.6B (2024) → $2.6B by 2032. High-Protein Goods
Protein-forward foods and beverages that deliver satiety and performance—without compromising taste or simplicity—remain a durable growth lane across bars, RTDs, and modern dairy. The protein bar segment alone was ~$14.2B in 2023 and is projected to reach ~$20.9B by 2030 as consumers seek convenient, macro-balanced formats for everyday energy and recovery. Grand View Research Broader functional-beverage dynamics (hydration, nutrition, and metabolic health) compound this demand across refrigerated and shelf-stable sets. Grand View Research
Kids & Family Foods
Families are trading ultra-processed defaults for options with real ingredients, lower sugar, and recognizable nutrition. Globally, kids’ food and beverages are expected to grow from ~$148B (2025) to ~$274B by 2035 (CAGR ~6.3%), reflecting sustained interest in clean-label meals, snacks, and drinks. Future Market Insights Within snacks, multiple trackers place the market around $60–64B (2024) with mid-single- to high-single-digit growth through the early 2030s, driven by veggie-forward formats, better grains, and portion-smart indulgence. businessresearchinsights.com+1 Baby and toddler foods continue to expand as well, with the global market projected from ~$116B (2025) to ~$185B by 2032 (CAGR ~7%). Fortune Business Insights At the same time, public-health data showing rising childhood obesity keeps pressure on brands to lead with nutrient density and sugar reduction—further reinforcing the category’s shift toward functional, minimally processed choices.
